Day 3:

Kimberley to Fairmont (110 kms, 1 Hour Drive)
Overnight - Fairmont or Invermere

Kimberley has three golf courses, Trickle Creek Golf Resort, Bootleg Gap Golf and the Kimberley Golf Club.   Play one or several rounds today!

Golf Digest placed Trickle Creek Golf Resort in North America's top ten for value and quality and awarded them a 4.5 star rating, the highest rating for any golf course in British Columbia.

Trickle Creek's numerous elevated tees create extra hang time on tee shots, the most dramatic of these being the par 3 eleventh.    This elevated tee is situated over 50 feet above the green, producing one of the most inviting and tantalizing shots in golf.

The Bootleg Gap Golf facility is the largest in the region, 27-holes, with the championship course measuring over 7,200 yards and the 9-hole mid-length course at 2,560 yards.

Designed by Les Furber, the 18-hole course swoops and dives among hoodoos and pines in a panoramic setting above the St. Mary River.   Some holes cruise along an open plateau offering dynamic views of the river and the Rockies.   Others plunge into the tranquility of the valley floor, making the experience at Bootleg Gap a thrilling ride.

The Kimberley Golf Club was established in 1924, the Golf Club has been a founding member of golf in the Rockies and has hosted many regional championships over the years.   The towering ponderosa pines on the front nine dare you to shape the ball around them towards the generous fairways and greens.

On the back nine, the course tightens up slightly and demands a little more accuracy off the tee.    The par 4 sixteenth hole has seen its fair share of bogeys due to a challenging tee shot over a ravine.

From Kimberley continue heading north on Hwy #95A and then Hwy #95/93 to Fairmont.
