Description: Individual booth presentations at adventure/travel and
snowmobile consumer
shows in rubber-tire markets and long-haul markets with good air access.
Rationale:
Targeted consumer shows in primary markets.
Target Markets:
Adventure seekers; soft adventure; touring/travel all ages.
Objective: To
meet and discuss, one on one, the outdoor adventure and travel opportunities in the
Kootenay Rockies region of British Columbia.
To distribute promotional material to attendees. To encourage direct and immediate
bookings.

Gross Budget:
$46,500
Eligible Partners: Adventure Operators
& Adventure Packagers (i.e. Accommodation
Properties, DMOs, Consortiums, Central
Reservations and Property Management companies promoting an adventure
package - overnight stay with an outdoor adventure activity, ATV tour,
guided rafting, guided hiking, guided fishing, snowmobiling tours,
guided snowshoeing, etc.).
Maximum
Cost-Sharing: One or two booths (i.e. 10x10 or
8x10) at
all individual snowmobile and/or adventure/travel shows for each
eligible Partner.
DMO's requests are subject to each individual community's needs (please
contact the office for further details).
*There is limited booth space (due to
available regional budget dollars) at all consumer shows, available by
'first-come, first-available'.
