Columbia Gardens Winery

The Columbia Garden Vineyard and Winery is owned and operated by Ben De Jager. It is a small production winery producing VQA quality wines in the Kootenay Rockies near the city of Trail. As a member of the British Columbia Wine Institute, they are held to a high standard. The BC VQA designation is the assurance that the wine you’re purchasing is 100% from BC and has met rigorous quality regulations.

Enjoy The Burl Tasting room and Gift Shop. It offers a variety of gifts and all the wines that are produced by Columbia Gardens Winery.  Wines can be sampled and tasted free of charge.

It is licensed to host a multitude of functions for up to 100 people and the picturesque views of the grounds also lends itself to memorable photos. It is the perfect venue for small events such as bachelorette/bachelor parties, showers, birthday celebrations and corporate retreats.

During the summer, CGW  under the Grape Escape Guesthouse offer catered picnics in the vines with a tasty picnic basket and a bottle of wine of your choice. Cheese platters are available as well to enjoy on the porch. A lunch menu is offered at The Burl.  It includes a selection of quiches and hot & cold drinks.
