Rafting in the heart of the Kootenay Rockies, Lardeau River Adventures offers an unparalleled whitewater rafting experience only 90 minutes north of Nelson and 35 minutes from Kaslo. Suitable for all abilities, these crystal waters wind through the breathtaking scenery of Goat Range Provincial Park.
This inland rain forest habitat is home to a variety of Rocky Mountain wildlife including woodland caribou, grizzly and black bear, wolves, cougar, bald eagles and elk. The wild and free-flowing Lardeau River is also the spawning ground of the Kokanee, a landlocked salmon and the endangered Gerrard Trout, the largest Rainbow trout in the world.
Lardeau River Adventures specialize in high quality and exciting eco-adventures. Running the river with them is an exhilarating and enjoyable way to access the unique environment without disturbing the wildlife or the ecosystem as a whole.
Group sizes are kept small so you may have an intimate, personalized introduction to this remarkable mountain valley.
Trips depart daily from the Meadow Creek office at 10 am. Arrive at the office at 9:30am; pre-booking is essential.

Red Fish Special – 6 hour round trip. Available September 9 – September 30.
Join a professional guide team and combine your rafting adventure with an up-close experience of the multitudes of spawning salmon, bald eagles and other predators and scavengers brought to the river over this time. You simply cannot get closer than this! A delicious riverside picnic included. Staff are fully qualified bear guides for your safety.
Lower River Scenic – 4 hour round trip. Available May, June & September
