Paddle & Portage

Paddle & Portage

Description

Season of Operation: June to September.

Paddle & Portage offers group kayak trips on the Kootenay River, located in the beautiful Creston Valley. The Kootenay River is a slow moving river and makes for very easy paddling- good for novices, birding, and friends who like to spend a leisurely get-together in the great outdoors.

They provide the kayaks, paddles, life jackets (PFD's), shuttle (when required), map with directions, and a few tips you will need for an enjoyable trip on the Kootenay River. Their single, sit-inside, recreational kayaks are comfortable, roomy and very stable.
