Named as one of the “10 best places to get in tune & be outdoors!” by USA Today - the Kaslo Jazz Etc. Festival a world-class, family-friendly festival and has been host to big names and newly discovered gems of the entertainment business since 1991 (25 years)!

The festival takes place over the long weekend in August with this year’s festival dates, July 29-31.  One of the most unique elements of this alluring event is its floating stage along the shoreline of Kootenay Lake, lending festival patrons a natural amphitheater sound and epic views of our pristine wilderness.  Blues, funk, soul, world, Latin and of course jazz bands have rocked the stage with past performers such as: Ziggy Marley, Steve Earle, Corb Lund, Bruce Cockburn, John Mayall, Mother Mother, Sarah Harmer, Sloan and the Tea Party.

This year’s performers include: Delhi 2 Dublin, Frazey Ford, Lost Ledge, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Moontricks, Oscar Lopez, Red-Eyed Soul, Shred Kelley, Tequila Mockingbird Orchestra and many more.
