Kaslo Jazz Etc. Festival a world-class, family-friendly festival and has been
host to big names and newly discovered gems of the entertainment business since
1991 (25 years)!
festival takes place over the long weekend in August with this year’s festival dates,
July 29-31. One of the most unique
elements of this alluring event is its floating stage along the shoreline of
Kootenay Lake, lending festival patrons a natural amphitheater sound and epic
views of our pristine wilderness. Blues,
funk, soul, world, Latin and of course jazz bands have rocked the stage with
past performers such as: Ziggy Marley, Steve Earle, Corb Lund, Bruce Cockburn,
John Mayall, Mother Mother, Sarah Harmer, Sloan and the Tea Party.
This year’s performers include: Delhi 2
Dublin, Frazey Ford, Lost Ledge, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Moontricks,
Oscar Lopez, Red-Eyed Soul, Shred Kelley, Tequila Mockingbird Orchestra and
