The East Kootenay Amateur Radio Club is holding the Field Day at Idlewild Park in the west parking lot off 9th Street. This event brings together amateur radio operators (also called ‘hams’) from within the community.
The theme is ‘A National Resource’ highlighting the many ways that wireless technology connects people across distances near and far.
