Arrowsmith Gallery

Arrowsmith Gallery is located on beautiful Kootenay Lake.

The gallery was started in 2003 by artist Karen Arrowsmith to display original watercolors.

Karen is a watercolour artist and a well known instructor.  She was born in Calgary, Alberta and moved to the Kootenays with her husband and young children to find a simpler life. Watercolour has been her main medium for over 25 years.  Her paintings illustrate her love of nature and her belief that man and nature are intertwined.

During the months of May to October, the gallery and studio showcase a group of dynamic Kootenay artists. You will find original watercolors, fabric art, silversmithing, hand painted dolls, stained glass, and woodturning.

After the October long weekend, the gallery becomes a full-time studio and teaching center.

Visitors are always welcome.
