Fernie is well known for mountain biking. The Elk Quad chairlift operates 7 days a week including holidays with the addition of the high-speed Timber Express chairlift accessing the mountain top Lost Boys Cafe on weekends and holidays. Offering a plethora of outdoor activities and on-mountain accommodation, Fernie has an adventure for everyone.

Panorama Resort Bike Park open JUNE 30 to SEP 3, 2017
The high-speed Mile 1 quad accesses biking and hiking terrain to suits a variety of ability levels. The bike park boasts 17 authentic mountain trails and a vertical of 380 m/1,246 ft. Cox Creek Trail and Fort Hide 'N' Seek are two fun hikes from the top of the Mile 1 Quad. Hikers can also access trails and viewpoints of the majestic Purcell Mountain Range and the Canadian Rockies.
