Campbell Icefield Chalet

A spectacular 15-minute helicopter flight from Golden, BC will start the adventure.

The Campbell Icefield and the surrounding terrain offers numerous options for exploring whether hiking or ski touring.

The Chalet

The beautiful chalet offers comfort and warmth after a day of exploring. The chalet can be booked by groups of 10 or more and is one of only a few locations that offers self-guided, self-catered bookings.

The chalet is situated north of Golden, on the snowy west side of the Rocky Mountains. It’s at tree line 2,088 m (6,850 ft), near the towering peaks of the Continental Divide. Surrounded by meadows and glaciers, the area provides a virtual playground for backcountry enthusiasts. The terrain is suitable for all levels of hiking and skiing ability.

Ten bright bedrooms can sleep up to 22 guests; four rooms have 173 cm (68 inches) wide beds, ideal for couples. The chalet has a separate drying room and a cold room for food storage. A nearby sauna and shower building offers guests comfort and convenience after a days outing.
