Fernie Alpine Resort Bike Park open June 22 – Sept 2, 2019
Fernie is well known for mountain biking and also offers a variety of hiking trails. The Elk Quad chairlift
operates 7 days a week including holidays accessing the mountain top. You’ll discover a plethora of outdoor activities and on-mountain accommodation at the Fernie Alpine Resort village.

Kicking Horse Mountain Resort (Golden) open May 18-20, 2019; then May 25 for the summer.

More summer recreation at the resort include a secured climbing route (Via Ferrata opens June 22), Grizzly Bear Refuge, Gondola access to hiking and dining at the Eagle’s Eye Restaurant.

The high-speed Mile 1 quad accesses biking and hiking terrain to suits a variety of ability levels. The bike park boasts 17 authentic mountain trails and a vertical of 380 m/1,246 ft. Cox Creek Trail and Fort Hide
‘N’ Seek are two fun hikes from the top of the Mile 1 Quad. Hikers can also access trails and viewpoints of the majestic Purcell Mountain Range and the Canadian Rockies.
