The Salmo Ski Hill, located near Nelson, is famous for its great night skiing on fully-lit runs that are always groomed. The hill has varied terrain including gently sloping runs, moguls, steep slopes, pristine powder racing courses, half pipe and a bunny hill. Amenities include rentals and lessons.

Summit Lake Ski & Snowboard Area (Nakusp)
Located at 2915 Highway 6, the Summit Lake Ski and Snowboard Area offers an affordable skiing and boarding experience for the whole family. Some amenities include a day lodge with cafeteria, ski shop with rentals, beginner area, terrain park, daily grooming, expert runs, locker rentals, tube park, snowshoe and cross-country skiing trail.

Wapiti Ski Club (Elkford)
At 1,300 m above sea level, Elkford welcomes over 350 cm of snow annually. There are 14 complete runs offering 1,000 vertical feet of elevation change to please the whole family. Amenities include a day lodge.
