DescriptionThe Fernie RV Resort offers 97 fully serviced RV sites, 26 of which will be pull-through, as well as a tenting area. The resort has an ideal location convenient to all the city amenities and nestled between the Elk River, Fernie Golf & Country Club and a popular beach at Maiden Lake.
Amenities include family-style washrooms with shower, sink and toilet, group cooking and picnic shelters, controlled-access entrance, laundry facility, childrens playground and spray park, pet friendly, sani-dump and water fill-up station.
Winter amenities include full-service winterized RV sites with all-weather plumbing and 50 amp electrical hookups, regular snow clearing of the sites and resort, free high speed WiFi, family-style private washrooms with sink, shower and toilet, commercial laundry facility and direct access to groomed xc trails.
Back-in RV & Pull-through RV Sites
Seventy-one deluxe back-in sites have easy access & ample space and twenty-six premium pull-through RV sites were built for today’s larger Class A motorcoaches. Full service, year-round hookups at each site include water, sewer, electricity (all RV sites have 30 and 50 amp service) and WiFi. And, all sites include a fire ring and picnic area.
Seventeen comfortable tent sites are set up backing against a forested area. All tent sites have 15 amp electrical service, WiFi, fire ring, picnic table, water within 30 metres and on-site parking. One group tent site can accommodate up to 30 people. This space is approximately 8,000 square feet with 3 fire rings and 3 picnic tables. The site has 6 dedicated parking spaces, six 15 amp electrical outlets, WiFi and water.
Online Reservations available. The Fernie RV Resort is pleased to offer seasonal camping for those looking for an extended stay. Seasonal camping will be limited to a maximum total of 30 sites for each season; there are two seasons to choose from.

In the summer, the sparkling waters of the Elk River winds its way through the Elk Valley, offering fly-fishing and float trips on the calm stretches in town and wild whitewater rafting in the lower canyon. Hiking ranges from easy 2 hour waterfall strolls to the full day iconic Heiko's Trail across mountain passes. Mountain biking is well served with over 50 trails and a Bike Park; plus there is an Aerial Park, Dirt Jump Park and much more to discover.
