This company supports conservation through various donations and volunteer activities, they use energy / fuel efficient equipment and technologies, take steps for conserving water and carbon footprint reduction and have low carbon customers – paddle-only water sports offered; nothing motorized.
Kayak rentals include a fleet of Current Designs full rudder system sea kayaks. They are extremely rugged and also a stable kayak perfectly suited for beginners, but also still offering great maneuverability for the more experienced paddler.
Single kayaks are also available for rent, for those experienced on the water.
Stand up paddle boards are simply a ton of fun and great exercise too. Qualified instruction is available which will have you up and paddling in no time. Rentals are available for 2 hours, half or full day and includes all safety gear.
Guided Kayaking Tours
No experience required for Kayaking Tours. Comprehensive lesson is provided; aspects include learning how to launch & land, basic strokes and standard rescue techniques. All gear is included.
Explorer or Adventure Trips:
A peaceful evening paddle along the shores of Kootenay Lake. Watch the sun set over the spectacular Selkirk Mountains. Catch the glowing tip of Mt Loki as the sun disappears behind he mountains. Bring your camera and be prepared for the memory of a lifetime.
Multi-Day Adventures (2 days)
A wilderness and camping journey on sea kayaks. Explore the shores of Kootenay Lake. All multi-day trips are customized to your group including meals, itinerary and detailed list of what you’ll need to bring. A minimum of 4 people are required for this trip. Pets not allowed.
