Since 1976, Kootenay River Runners has been introducing adventurous travellers to the delights of whitewater rafting in British Columbia.
They’ve guided over 250,000 rafting guests down the Kicking Horse River, Kootenay River and Toby Creek.
These rivers carve their way through some of the most impressive mountain landscapes in the BC Canadian Rockies.
Whether you’re looking for a fun-filled rafting trip on the Kootenay River near Radium, a short but sweet, exciting rafting adventure on the Toby Creek in Panorama, or a high-adventure, adrenaline pumping, white water rafting challenge on the Kicking Horse in Golden; Kootenay River Runners has the perfect trip for you and your family.
Guests have the option of camping for free at their beautiful Kicking Horse basecamp the night before or after their rafting adventure.
The village of Radium Hot Springs lies at the southern entrance to Kootenay National Park. The hot pool facilities are located in Sinclair Canyon, just a couple of minutes inside the park boundary. People come here for the hot springs, excellent golf courses, hiking opportunities and, of course, the whitewater rafting adventures and scenic floats.
