Mt. Begbie Brewing Company is based in the beautiful city of Revelstoke and is named after Mt. Begbie, a majestic glacial mountain that dominates the Revelstoke skyline. The brewery is owned and operated by Bart and Tracey Larson whose love for beer and the quest for mountain living lured them to Revelstoke. The Brewery opened in 1996.
Producing award-winning brews in small batches, Mt. Begbie Brewing offers 100% natural beer. Following the Bavarian Purity Law, only malt, hops, yeast and water are used. No additives or preservatives are included.
Over the years, the company has expanded and relocated three times to accommodate growth. The new brewery features a dedicated tasting room and large retail space – check their website for hours of operation.

At the 2021 World Beer Awards, Mt. Begbie won a number of times: Begbie Cream Ale – World’s Best Style Winner and Canada Winner; Nasty Habit, High Country Kolsch and Tall Timber Ale – Canada Silver; Brave Liver Scotch Ale – Canada Bronze.
