Nakusp Hot Springs, Chalets & Campground

Relax. Refresh. Return.

Located just 12 kilometres (7 mi) northeast of the
village of Nakusp, the quaint hot springs pool is
situated in a beautiful mountain setting, with creeks rushing by and trees to shade your eyes.

Open year-round: 9:30am to 9:30pm.

The hot mineral rich waters are piped 1 kilometre (1/2 mile) from the source along Kuskanax Creek to the pools. The small pool averages 42C (108F) and the large pool 30C (100F).

Accessibility:  Special needs washroom and pool lift is available.

It’s the perfect place to get away from your hectic lifestyle, soak in the hot mineral pool and rejuvenate your mind and body.

On-site Chalets and Campground accommodation

Beautiful, retro chalets are clean and cozy, and provide guests with kitchens and kitchenettes (depending on the size of the unit). They are a perfect retreat for families, couples, and seniors, and nothing beats their proximity to the hot springs. The units contain satellite TV but, best of all, no telephones or wireless internet access (though there is a phone and internet connection at the Chalet Office).

A short walk from the hot springs is the Nakusp Hot Springs RV and tenting Campground featuring shaded sites near the Kuskanax Creek. Thirty sites have power plus some overflow and a tenting area. Campground open May 1 to mid-October.

There are also hiking and mountain biking trails through beautiful old growth forests.

Kuskanax Creek Footbridge

A covered bridge with seating and glass viewing panels spans the Kuskanax. On a hot day, it’s a great place to spend some time.  Also a short walk from the hot springs.

The Nakusp Hot Springs offers over 200 acres of year-round outdoor recreation. The area is an immense untouched wilderness for outdoor enthusiasts.  Trail Maps are available at the Visitor Centre.
