Nakusp Museum

Description

A collection of over 5,500 artifacts housed in theme rooms include local historical material relating to aboriginal and early settlement, the forestry industry and the Arrow Lakes sternwheelers. The building which houses the Nakusp Museum, Public Library and Archives, operated by the Arrow Lakes Historical Society, was constructed in 1911 as Nakusp's third school.

Open Tuesday through Sunday, 10 am to 4 pm, mid-May to mid-September; Guided tours are available by appointment during the winter months.
