Radius invites you to come experience a yurt - June 19, 11am to 2pm.
Radius Retreat is the first of its kind in the Columbia Valley. The property is situated on 1,000 acres and it backs onto Kootenay National Park, in an off-grid, sustainable wilderness area. Six Yurt accommodation rooms are offered on the property. Each are either 200 or 315 square feet in size and offer single and queen beds.
The Perch (2.5 km) - The most remote and private accommodation and features a dramatic bird's-eye-view of the Columbia Wetlands.
The Nest (2.4 km) - Situated among the trees and has a viewing deck to sit and relax on.
The Hollow (700 m) - Located in a rambling meadow and is a quick easy walk from the trailhead.
The Burrow (700 m) - Located in a spacious meadow and a quick easy walk from the trailhead.
The Den - The coziest yurt, tucked away in the trees with a 'forest floor patio' welcoming you to sit and relax as you listen to the birds chirping.
The Drey (300 m) - Located in a private grove, surrounded by trees, but with lots of open areas for games - the perfect place for bocce or frisbee.
The property acreage is open to explore in the summer and winter with trails for hiking, biking, snowshoeing and skiing.
