Radius Retreat is a one-of-a-kind nature destination in the Columbia Valley.
Nestled on almost 500 acres of pristine mountain forest and bordering Kootenay National Park, Radius Retreat offers a truly off-grid and sustainable escape into nature. Guests stay in one of eleven thoughtfully designed yurts, which are either hike-in or drive-up, accommodating from 1 to 5 people.

Yurts: (with hiking distance from trailhead)
The Haven (Drive-up) – The only glamping-style yurt, offers all the comforts of Yurt Life without the hike. The spacious 30-foot yurt features an open concept layout, cozy couches, high-end bedding and wood burning stove.
The Nest (2.4 km) – The most remote and private yurt, The Nest offers a peaceful forest retreat.
The Eyrie (1.75 km) – Elevated among the trees, the Eyrie combines sweeping views of the Columbia Wetlands with the comfort and shelter of the surrounding coniferous forest.
The Grove (200 m) – Just a short stroll from the trailhead. The Grove offers easy access without sacrificing privacy. Its covered entrance creates a cozy outdoor living space.
The Drey (300 m) – Nestled within a private grove of trees, The Drey offers a wonderful balance of sun, privacy and open space.
The Roost (400 m) – Set in a private meadow overlooking the valley below, The Roost is perched on an elevated platform with a deck that invites guests to soak in the views and sunsets.
The Hollow and The Burrow (700 m) – Surrounded by a spacious meadow, these two yurts offer a relaxing retreat with plenty of room to unwind. The easy access makes them a favourite for families.
The Hill (750 m with some stairs) – Perched partway up the mountain, The Hill offers stunning views and offers that perfect blend of elevation, scenery and serenity.
The Den (100 m) – A super cozy yurt tucked quietly among the trees, the Den features a charming forest-floor patio. It’s the perfect place to slow down.
The Warren (Drive-Up) – The newest yurt and although located just off the Day Use parking area, it feels tucked away into the hillside with plenty of privacy.
