The Red Shutter Inn is a cozy lodge at the base of Red Mountain Ski Resort offering 6 guest rooms and a 2-bedroom cabin. Open year-round, but busiest during the winter season while the resort and cat-skiing are operating.

Built in the 1960s, the Red Shutter Inn is an original accommodation property in the RED Mountain Resort Village. While it has been updated since it still has more of a ski club feel to it than a hotel vibe.

The lodge offers 6 guests rooms with queen and double beds, and a small bathroom. During the winter, lodge accommodation includes a hot breakfast at Fresh Cafe. The property also provides free WiFi, a lounge room, outdoor hot tub and a cozy social scene.

Service is lodge style – so daily maid service isn’t provided.

Cuddle with ‘Big Red Cat’ on the couch – Big Red is a very friendly cat who lives at the lodge and is the mascot for Big Red Cats Cat-skiing located next door.

Also, next door is a 2-bedroom A-frame cabin which sleeps 4 and offers a full kitchen, for those who prefer a self-catering option. This rustic accommodation property is a great choice for a small group – amenities still include access to the outdoor hot tub, sauna, and free WiFi.

Three restaurants are located nearby. A free hourly shuttle into town is also available, from the front door.
