WHY SKI THE POWDER HIGHWAY THIS WINTER

  •  While RMR is renowned for its expert terrain, it also offers plenty of progressive areas that allow skiers and boarders of all levels to enjoy the big mountain experience on approachable terrain. Over the past six years, significant upgrades have been made to improve the ski & snowboard experience for beginner and intermediate riders. With many terrain improvements in the Ripper Zone, a new surface lift at the top of the Gondola, and a centralized learning zone, more and more families are shifting their vacation to Revelstoke. 
  • Natural Selection Tour – March 10-16, 2026 – Twenty-four of the world’s best snowboarders meet in Revelstoke to compete over 2 days just outside the resort boundaries on naturally enhanced event venue. The competition will happen within the weather window over two days and at the end, the top competitors will be crowned the Natural Selection Tour champions.

Facilities: 2 retail shops, rental shop, repair shop, Mountain Sports School, The Sutton Place Hotel and Sointula Spa. Heli-skiing and back country packages are also available.

Revelstoke Adaptive Sports Program is a small volunteer based organization focused on increasing accessibility & supporting learning opportunities for people with challenges.

Revelstoke Mountain Resort is best known for its amazing terrain, incredible snow and stunning views. 1,713 metres of vertical descent makes the resort home to the most vertical in North America. The terrain spans 3,121 acres, delivering 75 runs, four alpine bowls, perfectly spaced glades and incredible rolling groomers, providing visitors with the opportunity to choose their own downhill adventure. For those who enjoy the scenic route, the Last Spike, a 15.2 kilometre green run stretching from the top of the Stoke Chair to the village base, ending where après begins.  Combined with an average of 10.5 metres of snowfall, fresh tracks are easy to find no matter which path you take. 

Although Revelstoke’s reputation was built on big mountain terrain, today, the resort is also known for its progressive terrain layout that evolves with you. Of its 75 runs, 12% are beginner, 43% intermediate, and 45% advanced. The lift system includes an eight-person gondola, multiple chairlifts, and beginner-friendly carpets, making the mountain accessible to families and visitors of all abilities.  

Beyond the slopes, the resort features The Sutton Place Hotel, luxury ski-in, ski-out condominium-style accommodations, perfectly positioned beside the Revelation Gondola. The vibrant resort village rounds out the experience with exceptional dining, boutique shopping and thoughtful amenities.
