Revelstoke is known as one of the top 10 adventure spots in North America. It offers world-class hiking and recreation from fun runs on cross-country ski trails to lift accessed trails at Revelstoke Mountain Resort (pictured above) to therapeutic board walks through old growth cedars in Mount Revelstoke National Park.
The city also offers a lovely riverside walk at the Forestry Museum & Discovery Centre, waterfall trails and the Mount Begbie Trail, which is steep but worth the effort. For the more adventurous, nearby Glacier National Park offers incredible hiking high into the alpine.
