Golden is renowned for its endless snowmobile riding options, deep snowfalls of champagne powder and spectacular scenery.  The variety of terrain caters to first time riders as well as extreme areas for those experienced mountain riders looking for a challenge.

Sled Golden manages three main areas:

  • Quartz Creek
  • Gorman Lake
  • Silent Pass

From Quartz Creek, they also groom and maintain the West Bench Trail and Old Man areas when they can.

Snowmobile trails in Golden are maintained and managed by the Golden Snowmobile Club, also known as ‘SledGolden’. The Golden Snowmobile Club holds a partnership agreement with the Province of BC to manage, maintain and develop riding areas around Golden, BC. The Golden Snowmobile Club is a registered BC Society.
