Summit Mountain Guides

Summit Mountain Guides offers professional mountain guiding services and instruction for the vertically inclined. Their winter and summer programs include beginner to advanced mountaineering, backcountry touring, ice climbing, rock climbing, trekking and hiking trips.

Daily guided programs or multi-day backcountry adventures are offered. You may participate as an individual, group, with your family or staff team for training in avalanche awareness, ski touring skills, rock climbing and ropes rescue skills, ice climbing instruction or learn to mountaineer programs.

Guides and instructors are certified by the ACMG / IFMGA / CSGA / CAA.

Hiking

• Hiking & trekking, daily guided hikes, interpretive walks, backpacking, treks & traverses, favourite hiking trails and hiking & trekking courses.

Rock Climbing

• Daily guided rock climbing, alpine rock climbing and courses.

Mountaineering

• Alpine rock, Classic Canadian mountaineering ascents and expeditions.

Ice Climbing

• Daily guided ice climbing and ice climbing courses.

Ski Touring

• Daily guided ski touring, ski traverses, lodge-based ski weeks and ski-mountaineering.

Courses

• Avalanche skill training (AST courses), ice climbing, backcountry ski touring, mountaineering, hiking & trekking courses and leadership training.
