Valley of the Springs Winery is a small, family owned and operated property cultivating cool-climate grapes, embracing the contrast of long sunny days and cool nights to produce crisp and aromatic handcrafted wines.
Sustainability Initiatives
Since first planting, Valley of the Springs has practised sustainable farming practices, no herbicides are used, work continuously to build up the soil to enhance water holding capacity, build soil using natural materials, production is low waste and products are sourced locally, they use limited machinery – harvest is done by hand.
This craft winery has a tasting room with a retail wine store. And, a patio lounge overlooking the Arrow Lakes Valley, and offering wine, local cider, craft beer and live music in the summer.
Their award winning wines include white blend Vista, Gewurztraminer, Rivaner, Gamay, Marechal foch, Zweigelt, Sparking Rose and red blends.
Located on a ridge with breathtaking panoramic views of Nakusp and the Arrow Lakes valley. Near the Nakusp Hot Springs hiking trailhead, five minutes from the golf course and less than 10 minutes to downtown and the beach.
