A forested park on the banks of the Moyie River, this park provides an attractive rest stop or overnight campsite for travellers.
This provincial park offers 26 vehicle accessible campsites. For tenters, four of these campsites (sites 3, 6, 15, 24) have sand filled tent pads. The campsites are on a first-come, first-served basis – campsite reservations are not accepted. There is a telephone and information shelter at the entrance to this park.
The campground is open from April to October.
As the southern gateway to the Kootenay Rockies, the park is located 14.5 kilometres (9 mi) north of the Canada/US border crossing at Kingsgate or 70 kilometres (43 mi) south of Cranbrook.
