Yahk Park

A forested park on the banks of the Moyie River, this park provides an attractive rest stop or overnight campsite for travellers.

Campground

  • This provincial park offers 26 vehicle accessible campsites.
  • For tenters, four of these campsites (sites 3, 6, 15, 24) have sand filled tent pads.
  • Reservations are accepted at this park
  • There are no first-come, first-served sites.
  • Group campsite reservations must also be made through the BC Parks Reservation system.

Day Use

The picnic and day use area is available on a first-come, first-served basins and is not reservable.

Location

As the southern gateway to the Kootenay Rockies, the park is located 14.5 kilometres (9 mi) north of the Canada/US border crossing at Kingsgate or 70 kilometres (43 mi) south of Cranbrook.
