An artisan gallery and studio space in downtown Fernie operated by a mother and daughter duo: Sandra and Florence Barrett.
Fernie Forge blacksmith, Sandra Barrett incorporates glass and felt into her sculptural steel work. She was inspired to forge a collaboration with glass artist Katherine Russell and fibre artist Robin Wiltse to showcase glass and felt in the gallery. The gallery carries various works by a select group of artisans from Canada and around the world.
Upstairs is Sandra’s daughter’s sewing studio – from clothing repairs to custom blinds to award winning costume designs.
The Gallery is open Thursdays and Fridays, 10am to 5pm; Saturdays 11:30am to 5:30pm.
The Studio is open by appointment or by chance.
