Sorcerer Lodge is located near the northern boundary of Glacier National Park (70 km NW of Golden); at an elevation of 2,018 meters (6,750 ft). Access to Sorcerer Lodge is by helicopter only, departing from Heather Mountain Lodge (55 km west of Golden on Highway #1).
Tree skiing or open glacier skiing is outstanding with 35 to 40 degree slopes, including 2,700 m (9,000 ft) to 3,300 m (11,000 ft) high peaks to ascend.
The three-story lodge can accommodate up to 18 people comfortably. It has a fully-equipped kitchen, a living/sitting room, sun room and dining area.
Outside, the large deck includes a barbecue; perfect on those sunny spring afternoons.
The terrain is very rugged and the area remote. Although not for beginners, this is a perfect place for your back country adventure. They also offer mountaineering trips and courses with highly qualified guides and instructors.
