Eight alpine ski resorts are located in the Kootenay Rockies with facilities to accommodate a diverse range of abilities and activities. Most also offer groomed cross-country trails on-site or nearby. For the more adventurous powder seekers, there's cat-skiing, heli-skiing and backcountry tours.
